I search the beaches of the Chesapeake and Potomac for unique pieces of Driftwood for my creations. Cedar is a sensual wood, locust is strong and curvaceous, Mulberry and Osage Orange give strength and character while cypress gives long lasting character.

Assemblages represent a multitude of subjects from both the natural and mythical worlds. I strive to bring life and character to figures while maintaining a focus on the unique texture and beauty of the wood.
